Newly revealed corruption scheme in Counter-Strike shocked Australia

Corruption in sports and sports betting is nothing new to an experienced tipster. It has been around as long as the sports themselves have. One of the esports' top disciplines just had its debut.
The esports corruption scheme has been revealed in Australia. The syndicate from Melbourne, which included six 19-22-year-olds, was operating since May of this year. Its young members have been involved in game-fixing of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive matches. The set-up was being done in advance and followed up by a wager.
Police found that at least 20 bets have been placed over the course of the syndicate's operation. After interviewing all the members, police said the group can receive even up to 10 years in prison.
Police do not seem to stop working on a matter and are constantly cooperating tightly with the top online bookmakers. The government claims that breaking the law is nothing new to betting, but seeing it spread into new disciplines only means that more work is ahead of us.
