Boris Johnson’s departure is not far away according to bookmakers
The Brexit deal new Prime Minister appointee might not stay for long with bookmakers already offering odds on his departure.
Boris Johnson took over the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom post this Wednesday. He got the job mainly due to his promises “deliver a Brexit deal, unite the country and defeat Jeremy Corbyn”.
Johnson repeatedly showed his intentions to push the no-deal Brexit if the EU won’t agree on the terms, which might be hard to get approved by the Parliament, leading to a snap election. With that being said the chances of Boris leaving the post in 2020 got changed from 1.27 (3/11) to 1.36 (4/11) just over the course of 24 hours.
According to Betway Johnson is 5/1 to leave in 2023 and beyond. With many people believing in a Boris-less government after the next elections and even before them, it is all in the hands of the man himself and his Brexit delivery.
