Amazon founder is favoured to buy an NFL team
Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, and the wealthiest person on the planet, is showing some interest in acquiring an NFL team. Top online bookmakers are now favouring Bezos to own a team by 2021. Check out the odds.
The Amazon mogul, Jeff Bezos, is always looking to expand his riches. A $111 billion net worth entrepreneur already purchased the Washington Post to satisfy his journalism needs.
However, some recent reports suggest that Bezos might be making its way towards getting his hands on one of the NFL teams. It is quite logical to see such a person being interested in a deal like that because not many are capable of paying a price of such a calibre.
In the light of these rumours, one of the top online bookmakers opened a market dedicated for this very occasion. The book lists Jeff Bezos as rather a favourite, but there is still lots of room for doubts as no NFL team is currently up for a grab.
However, the most possible purchasable NFL franchises could be these four:
- Seattle Seahawks
- New Orleans Saints
- Denver Broncos
- Washington Redskins
Most of them have recently been assumed operational control by the family members following the passing of the previous owner. None of the successors shows any intentions of selling the organization. Out of these four, Washington Redskins are looking like the best shot, considering its current owner is a very unpopular one. Additionally, it will make a lot of sense, since Bezos is moving to Washington fulltime.
Seems like there is still a lot to figure out but are your predictions? Let us know down below.
