What sporting events are upcoming for February 2013?

African Cup of Nations has already started and will be ending in February. As a matter of fact it does not mean the end of important football events. Before the players from the Dark Continent return to their club, they will be playing in 1/8 Champions League.

Bayern – Arsenal, Milan – Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund - Szachtar or most of all Real Madrid – Manchester Utd, it seems that matches between those clubs will be interesting.

Tennis matches will be played on courts in Rotterdam and Zagreb, but during February the main tournament will be annual Dual Duty Free with the price fund of $2.4 mln. Ladies will by playing  first in Doha and then in Dubai. In both tournaments the price funds are over $2 mln.

Winter sports are getting closer to the end. Justyna Kowalczyk will be playing in Tour de Ski in Sochi and Davos, she is the leader of World Cup. When it comes to ski jumping the leaders are Harrachov, Willingen, Klinghental and Oberstdorf which makes Czech-German tour on the ski jump.

At the end of February, 26th to be exact, Gran Derbi rematch will take place, Barcelona will be playing against Real Madrid on Camp Nou. The Whites match ended with a draw (1:1), so will they fight for promotion during away game.
