Top online bookmakers concerned about the next Conor McGregor UFC fight

The Notorious MMA is trying to get in the octagon after his demoralizing defeat against Khabib Nurmagomedov back in October 7, 2018. Since then McGregor faced a couple of lawsuits which took him off the track for a quite some time. Is the comeback real?
The talks about the comeback have been around for a while. One of the top online bookmakers has opened a market for who is going to be McGregor’s next UFC opponent. Surprisingly or not but his kryptonite Khabib Nurmagomedov is far not among the favourites to be featured in the same UFC Fight Night card.
McGregor’s Next UFC Opponent
Donald Cerrone | 3.00 (2/1) |
Justin Gaethje | 4.50 (7/2) |
Nate Diaz | 5.00 (4/1) |
Jorge Masvidal | 7.00 (6/1) |
Khabib Nurmagomedov | 10.00 (9/1) |
Tony Ferguson | 11.00 (10/1) |
Frankie Edgar | 17.00 (16/1) |
Georges St-Pierre | 19.00 (18/1) |
Right now it seems like we won’t see the biggest UFC rematch any time soon as there is too much going on. One of the top online bookmakers Unibet sees the rematch being heavily in Russian fighter’s favour (Khabib - 1.28 (7/25), Conor - 3.45 (49/20)). Additionally, Khabib’s unwillingness to fight Conor results in the other two candidates (Ferguson and St-Pierre) being out of talks for the upcoming clash. In the meanwhile, bookmaker Ladbrokes is favouring McGregor at 1.65 (20/31) over Ferguson, who the book prices only at 2.25 (5/4).
That leaves McGregor with only a couple of options. However, the winner of the Diaz vs Masvidal fight is looking like the most profitable one for the NotoriousMMA, especially after Irishman claimed to be the “OG BMF”. By the way, Unibet gives the odds of 2.40 (7/5) for Nate Diaz’s victory, while pricing Jorge Masvidal at 1.57 (11/20).
