Second leg's Champions League analysis

Behind us the firs quarter finals matches in the Champions League. I believe that all of them ended up in accordance with our prior expectations. As early as upcoming Tuesday and Wednesday rematches will be played, should we expect any surprises? Let us take a look at each of the matches.

• Juventus : Bayern Munich

Bayern played another fantastic match at Allianz Arena and by now is practically one foot in the semifinals. With this type of play, it seems that 2:0 will be sufficient for an average team from Turin. Of course we can not take neglect Juventus chances but I think that with the offensive play of Bayern minimum one goal is inevitable, which would mean for Juventus scoring at least 3 goals in order to advance. It is hard to place for 1, X or 2 that is why I am tempted to present chances for the advance. In my opinion there are 90% in favor of Bayern.

• Galatasaray : Real Madrid

Real's high win definitely crossed out the chances for the advance of Turkish team. In my opinion Drogba and company played a very open game and it ended up with a result unable to make up. Bookmaker are ruthless and unanimously state that team from Madrid is going to win the rematch (odds of about 1,66). I do not know whether the team of Mourhinio is going to play with the first squad and push the paste, I am not sure about that that is why I am considering of playing a handicap +1 for Turks. Turkish teams are very dangerous on their own field and they will definitely want a dignified end of their adventure with Champions League.

• Barcelona : PSG

In my opinion, the only unknown is if Messi will be playing or no. If he will, Parisians have little chance of getting good results. Not only the psychological aspect but the abilities of players in case of Messi playing will be rebuttable. The result of the first game 2:2 definitely puts Barca in a privileged position, but gives hope to PSG as well. At Camp Nou it is difficult to defeat Barca that is why I estimate the chances of advancing at 80% in favor of Barcelona. If Messi will be playing I will place a handicap -1 Barcelona.

• Borussia Dortmund : Malaga

We have seen a crazy match in Malage and it still seems incredible to me that it had ended without a any goal scored.  Only scoring indolence in this match could have really surprise a football expert. Mario Goteze or Lawandowski have had the minimum of  chances for scoring a goal. Malga have had some chances as well. Rematch promises to be a fascinating battle for promotion. This time bookmakers are more careful (1,44 for Borussia's victory) which I think is appropriate having in mind shaped of both teams. I am thinking of playing over 2.5 and Borussia's victory. Despite a few bad games in the Bundeslige they play great during home games.
