Lakers total wins drop. Value or snub?

Los Angeles Lakers has suffered a wave of injuries last season, which sidelined a fair share of the team’s power including LeBron James. The not-making playoff Laker undergone a complete rebuild and are looking fresh and healthy now. Well, except for DeMarcus Cousins, who tore his ACL during the training and is expected to miss the entire next season.

LeBron managed to gather a handful of NBA talent including the superstar Anthony Davis and the NBA Champion Danny Green. While on the mission to bring back their legacy, the Purple & Gold are receiving some criticism from the outside. The NBA’s total wins market which is currently covered by bookmakers like William Hill and 888sport are offering a 51.5 Over/Under line priced at 1.91 (91/100) apiece.

The unexpected move has recently been seen from one of the top online bookmakers. Bookmaker Bodog offered a considerably low line for LA, giving them only 48.5 total wins, while still presuming the same odds of 1.91 (91/100) on August 29. Maybe even the bookie thought it was too much and changed the bet, offering the 50.5 Over/Under total wins line. The book priced the Over option at 2.10 (11/10) while pricing the Under at 1.71 (71/100).

With so much potential and pride on the line, should we expect the Lakershow to deliver this season? It seems like there is value hiding somewhere.
