The information about the nominations for the Oscars has been log awaited by the cinema fans. The prize is awarded by the Academy of Films and is undoubtedly the most coveted statuette in the film industry. Bookmakers are keen on the topic as well and offer their players odds to be placed on their front runners to win this honourable prize.

Oscar winners will be announced during the award ceremony, which will take place early in March. Although there is still some time to it, the speculations regarding who will be awarded with the most important prize has already started.
In the 86th Oscars award ceremony will be fighting, among others, “Gravity” and “American Hustle” both with 10 nominations, “12 Years a slave” with six nominations and “The Wolf of Wall Street” with five nominations. Among the film directors, a chance of receiving Oscar have among others Steve McQueen for “12 Years A Slave”, David O. Russell for “American Hustle” and Martin Scorsese for “The Wolf of Wall Street.” Among the actors the front runners are among others Christian Bale, Leonadro Di Caprio, Matthew McConaughey, Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock i Meryl Streep.
