Is is more profitable to play singles or to play few matches on one coupon?

It is difficult to answer unequivocally to such question. Among the professional players there is a belief that only an event that has a high odds is worth to bet high stakes.

Proponent of this theory argue that in order to win serious amounts of money in sports betting there is a need of a mandatory tactical discipline, full knowledge about a bookmaker you play at, and lack of emotion (a very common mistake made by players is betting on their favorite team). If cold calculation wins, you will be very dangerous for the bookmaker, and probably noticed by him, and worst of all, you could be blocked or your limit of placing bets will decrease. Unfortunately, many professional players who play singe matches experiences it. The situation is different when players bet on several matches on the same coupon (sometimes selecting a system such as three of the four meetings, patent, trixi, etc.). Our experience has shown that players using this technique are less likely to be blocked by the bookmaker and therefore there is a much bigger chance for a higher winning. Bookmaker knows that when there are several matches on the coupon, the chance of winning decreases dramatically. But is that really true?

We can agree in case when a player chooses to play 3-4 matches that take place on the same day, or the same time on the same coupon. In this situation we are likely to loose and if it happens that we actually do win it it treated as a stroke of luck. When on the other hand we analyze few days during which we can actually find some interesting matches (valuebets), we can safely bet in one of the available systems. In reality it is does not mean that the chance of winning is diminished, moreover we often have the opportunity to play contra in case when we hit for example the first 3 matches. In addition when playing earlier on a given match (for instance on Monday we bet for the match played on Friday, Saturday or Sunday) we will avoid the decrease of odds, which often are an important part of future success. The only drawback is lack of knowledge about for instance injuries or weather conditions that will be known at the end of the week.

If the forecasts for weekend looks good, the teams will be playing in their strongest squads, therefore on Monday we will play over 2.5 goals, than on Friday there is a change in weather, it starts raining or the atmospheric conditions are bad, the percentage of high score decreases. This may happen but it is often compensated by a higher odds due to the fact that many players to not play a few days in advance.
