When traveling from London to New York City there is a five hour difference, but when some of them - such as Manchester United - play in Seattle, you have to add a couple of hours more. Climate is also an important factor, because practices take place in extreme conditions comparing them to the ones we have in England.
Most of the English Premier League teams start season preparation in the first week of July. They spend this time to prepare for the new campaign before traveling to different sides of the world. Manchester United will play their first match against Club America in Seattle on 17 July in International Champions Cup. Their last match in North America will be played just a week before the start of the new English Premier League campaign. During the twelve-day-tour the Red Devils will play four matches.

Another team traveling to the United States, which will participate in the same tournament is Chelsea. Jose Mourinho's team will play three matches in different cities located far away from each other. It means that not only traveling to the United States will take time and require a time change, but also traveling over the United States might have a negative impact on the players.

Three English Premier League sides will participate in 2015 Premier League Asia Trophy. Everton will face Stoke City and Arsenal will play against Singapore Select XI in the semifinals on 15 July. Three days later third place match and the final will take place. This shows that different starting lineups will play in these matches. It needs to be taken into a consideration while betting. Looking at English Premier League table from the end of the 2014/15 campaing, Arsenal are the favorites to win the tournament, but coaches might have different approach to the game.
